With our DIY Cleanup program, we provide you with our 12 years of cleanup expertise formulated into a hands-on, user friendly guide! Our kits come with everything you’ll need to host your own cleanup for up to 10 volunteers at various locations across O’ahu.
You can host your own cleanup anytime, anywhere! We have the tools for you to host your own Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Cleanup. This guide can work for a beach, park, trail, stream, or neighborhood!
O’ahu residents and visitors can borrow DIY Cleanup Kits from our Kaimuki office.
Each kit comes equipped with an extensive guide on cleanup safety, locations, types of debris and how to properly dispose of what you collect. They also come with a set of reusable cleanup bags, gloves and sand sifters if desired.
Kits are free of charge for families, community groups, nonprofits and educational organizations. For use by for-profit companies, we ask for a minimum contribution of $150 to cover administration and equipment costs.
Please request your kit at least five days prior to your clean-up. For larger DIY kits for groups of more than 15 people, please submit a request at least 7 days prior to your event. To reserve a kit for your group, please email info@sustainablecoastlineshawaii.org.
